伝道者の書４：８〜１２
8 ひとりぼっちで、仲間もなく、子も兄弟もない人がいる。それでも彼のいっさいの労苦には終わりがなく、彼の目は富を求めて飽き足りることがない。そして、「私はだれのために労苦し、楽しみもなくて自分を犠牲にしているのか」とも言わない。これもまた、むなしく、つらい仕事だ。
9 ふたりはひとりよりもまさっている。ふたりが労苦すれば、良い報いがあるからだ。
10 どちらかが倒れるとき、ひとりがその仲間を起こす。倒れても起こす者のいないひとりぼっちの人はかわいそうだ。
11 また、ふたりがいっしょに寝ると暖かいが、ひとりでは、どうして暖かくなろう。
12 もしひとりなら、打ち負かされても、ふたりなら立ち向かえる。三つ撚りの糸は簡単には切れない。

1.教会は全ての人が必要な場所である
マタイ５：１４〜１６
14 あなたがたは、世界の光です。山の上にある町は隠れる事ができません。
15 また、あかりをつけて、それを枡の下に置く者はありません。燭台の上に置きます。そうすれば、家にいる人々全部を照らします。
16 このように、あなたがたの光を人々の前で輝かせ、人々があなたがたの良い行いを見て、天におられるあなたがたの父をあがめるようにしなさい。
2.助け合うために作られている
出エジプト４：１０〜１４
10 モーセは主に申し上げた。「ああ主よ。私はことばの人ではありません。以前からそうでしたし、あなたがしもべに語られてからもそうです。私は口が重く、舌が重いのです。」
11 主は彼に仰せられた。「だれが人に口をつけたのか。だれが口をきけなくし、耳を聞こえなくし、あるいは、目を開いたり、盲目にしたりするのか。それはこのわたし、主ではないか。
12 さあ行け。わたしがあなたの口とともにあって、あなたの言うべきことを教えよう。」
13 すると申し上げた。「ああ主よ。どうかほかの人を遣わしてください。」
14 すると、主の怒りがモーセに向かって燃え上がり、こう仰せられた。「あなたの兄、レビ人アロンがいるではないか。わたしは彼がよく話すことを知っている。今、彼はあなたに会いに出て来ている。あなたに会えば、心から喜ぼう。
マタイ２６：３８「そのとき、イエスは彼らに言われた。「わたしは悲しみのあまり死ぬほどです。ここを離れないで、わたしといっしょに目をさましていなさい。」

Ecclesiastes 4:8–12 (NIV):
8 There was a man all alone;
he had neither son nor brother.
There was no end to his toil,
yet his eyes were not content with his wealth.
“For whom am I toiling,” he asked,
“and why am I depriving myself of enjoyment?”
This too is meaningless—
a miserable business!
9 Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
10 If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.
11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
12 Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
1.The Church Is a Place for Everyone
Matthew 5:14–16 (NIV):
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
2.We Are Made to Help One Another
Exodus 4:10–14 (NIV):
10 Moses said to the Lord, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”
11 The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord?
12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”
13 But Moses said, “Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.”
14 Then the Lord’s anger burned against Moses, and he said, “What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. He is already on his way to meet you, and he will be glad to see you.”
Matthew 26:38 (NIV):
38 Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”
