10 この救いについては、あなたがたに対する恵みについて預言した預言者たちも、熱心に尋ね、細かく調べました。
11 彼らは、自分たちのうちにおられるキリストの御霊が、キリストの苦難とそれに続く栄光を前もってあかしされたとき、だれを、また、どのような時をさして言われたのかを調べたのです。
12 彼らは、それらのことが、自分たちのためではなく、あなたがたのための奉仕であるとの啓示を受けました。そして今や、それらのことは、天から送られた聖霊によってあなたがたに福音を語った人々を通して、あなたがたに告げ知らされたのです。それは御使いたちもはっきり見たいと願っていることなのです。

- メシアは処女から生まれる
イザヤ７：１４「見よ、処女が身ごもっている。そして男の子を産み、その名をインマヌエルと呼ぶ」
- メシアはダビデの家系からベツレヘムで生まれる
ミカ５：２「ベツレヘム・エフラテよ、あなたはユダの氏族の中で、あまりにも小さい。だが、あなたからわたしのために、イスラエルを治める者が出る。その出現は昔から、永遠の昔から定まっている」
- メシアは苦難を受ける
イザヤ５３：６〜７「私たちはみな、羊のようにさまよい、それぞれ自分勝手な道に向かって行った。しかし、主は私たちすべての者の咎を彼に負わせた。彼は痛めつけられ、苦しんだ。だが、口を開かない。屠り場に引かれて行く羊のように、毛を刈る者の前で黙っている雌羊のように、彼は口を開かない」
エレミヤ１７：９「人の心は何よりも陰険で、それは直らない。だれが、それを知ることができよう。」
2.神の時の正確さ
エレミヤ２９：１１「 わたしはあなたがたのために立てている計画をよく知っているからだ。―主の御告げ―それはわざわいではなくて、平安を与える計画であり、あなたがたに将来と希望を与えるためのものだ。」
１コリント１０：１３「あなたがたの会った試練はみな人の知らないものではありません。神は真実な方ですから、あなたがたを、耐えられないほどの試練に会わせることはなさいません。むしろ、耐えられるように、試練とともに脱出の道も備えてくださいます。」

10 Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care,11 trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of the Messiah and the glories that would follow. 12 It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things.

The prophecies about “MESSIAH”
A. The Messiah Will Be Born of a Virgin
Isaiah 7:14 – “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.”
B. The Messiah Will Be Born in Bethlehem from the Line of David
Micah 5:2 – “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”
C. The Messiah Will Suffer
Isaiah 53:6–7 – “We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.”
Jeremiah 17:9 – “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?”
2.The precision of God’s Plan
Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
1 Corinthians 10:13 – “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”
