17 また、人をそれぞれのわざに従って公平にさばかれる方を父と呼んでいるのなら、あなたがたが地上にしばらくとどまっている間の時を、恐れかしこんで過ごしなさい。
18 ご承知のように、あなたがたが父祖伝来のむなしい生き方から贖い出されたのは、銀や金のような朽ちる物にはよらず、
19 傷もなく汚れもない小羊のようなキリストの、尊い血によったのです
20 キリストは、世の始まる前から知られていましたが、この終わりの時に、あなたがたのために、現れてくださいました。
21 あなたがたは、死者の中からこのキリストをよみがえらせて彼に栄光を与えられた神を、キリストによって信じる人々です。このようにして、あなたがたの信仰と希望は神にかかっているのです。

1.恐れかしこんで過ごす

ダニエル６：３３「私の神は御使いを送り、獅子の口をふさいでくださったので、獅子は私に何の害も加えませんでした。それは私に罪のないことが神の前に認められたからです。王よ。私はあなたにも、何も悪いことをしていません。」」

使徒４：１９−２０「神に従うのと、あなたがたに従うのと、どちらが正しいか判断してください。私たちは、見たことや聞いたことを語らないわけにはいきません！」

マタイ６：３３「だから、神の国とその義とをまず第一に求めなさい。そうすれば、それに加えて、これらのものはすべて与えられます。」
