4 主のもとに来なさい。主は、人には捨てられたが、神の目には、選ばれた、尊い、生ける石です。
5 あなたがたも生ける石として、霊の家に築き上げられなさい。そして、聖なる祭司として、イエス・キリストを通して、神に喜ばれる霊のいけにえをささげなさい。
6 なぜなら、聖書にこうあるからです。「見よ。わたしはシオンに、選ばれた石、尊い礎石を置く。彼に信頼する者は、決して失望させられることがない。」
7 したがって、より頼んでいるあなたがたには尊いものですが、より頼んでいない人々にとっては、「家を建てる者たちが捨てた石、それが礎の石となった」のであって、
8 「つまずきの石、妨げの岩」なのです。彼らがつまずくのは、みことばに従わないからですが、またそうなるように定められていたのです。

箴言３：５〜６「心を尽くして主に拠り頼め。自分の悟りに頼るな。あなたの行く道すべてにおいて主を認めよ。そうすれば主は、あなたの進む道をまっすぐにされる。」
詩篇３７：５「あなたの道を主にゆだねよ。主に信頼せよ。主が成し遂げてくださる。」

4 As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him—
5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
6 For in Scripture it says:
“See, I lay a stone in Zion,
a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who trusts in him
will never be put to shame.”
7 Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe,
“The stone the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone,”
8 and,
“A stone that causes people to stumble
and a rock that makes them fall.”
They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for.

A. Worship gives us strength
Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV):
“Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

they will walk and not be faint.”
B. Worship sanctifies us

C. Worship helps us surrender all

Psalm 37:5 (NIV):
“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this.”
