テモテへの手紙第二メッセージ1「使徒パウロから、テモテへ」2テモテ1:1~5
1 神のみこころにより、キリスト・イエスにあるいのちの約束によって、キリスト・イエスの使徒となったパウロから、
2 愛する子テモテへ。父なる神および私たちの主キリスト・イエスから、恵みとあわれみと平安がありますように。
3 私は、夜昼、祈りの中であなたのことを絶えず思い起こしては、先祖以来きよい良心をもって仕えている神に感謝しています。
4 私は、あなたの涙を覚えているので、あなたに会って、喜びに満たされたいと願っています。
5 私はあなたの純粋な信仰を思い起こしています。そのような信仰は、最初あなたの祖母ロイスと、あなたの母ユニケのうちに宿ったものですが、それがあなたのうちにも宿っていることを、私は確信しています。
1.私は神の約束と計画によって召された使徒である

エレミヤ２９：１１「わたしはあなたがたのために立てている計画をよく知っているからだ。―主の御告げ―それはわざわいではなくて、平安を与える計画であり、あなたがたに将来と希望を与えるためのものだ。」
2.祈りに包まれて生きる
ピリピ４：６〜７「何も思い煩わないで、あらゆる場合に、感謝をもってささげる祈りと願いによって、あなたがたの願い事を神に知っていただきなさい。そうすれば、人のすべての考えにまさる神の平安が、あなたがたの心と思いをキリスト・イエスにあって守ってくれます。」
