テモテへの手紙第二メッセージ9「熟練したものとなりなさい」2テモテ2:14~19
14 これらのことを人々に思い出させなさい。そして何の益にもならず、聞いている人々を滅ぼすことになるような、ことばについての論争などしないように、神の御前できびしく命じなさい。
15 あなたは熟練した者、すなわち、真理のみことばをまっすぐに解き明かす、恥じることのない働き人として、自分を神にささげるよう、務め励みなさい。
16 俗悪なむだ話を避けなさい。人々はそれによってますます不敬虔に深入りし、
17 彼らの話は癌のように広がるのです。ヒメナオとピレトはその仲間です。
18 彼らは真理からはずれてしまい、復活がすでに起こったと言って、ある人々の信仰をくつがえしているのです。
19 それにもかかわらず、神の不動の礎は堅く置かれていて、それに次のような銘が刻まれています。「主はご自分に属する者を知っておられる。」また、「主の御名を呼ぶ者は、だれでも不義を離れよ。」
1. 俗悪なむだ話を避けなさい
１テサロニケ４：１３〜１４「眠った人々のことについては、兄弟たち、あなたがたに知らないでいてもらいたくありません。あなたがたが他の望みのない人々のように悲しみに沈むことのないためです。私たちはイエスが死んで復活されたことを信じています。それならば、神はまたそのように、イエスにあって眠った人々をイエスといっしょに連れて来られるはずです。」
マタイ２４：３６「ただし、その日、その時がいつであるかは、だれも知りません。天の御使いたちも子も知りません。ただ父だけが知っておられます。」
2.正しい死生観
ヨハネ３：１６「神は、実に、そのひとり子をお与えになったほどに、世を愛された。それは御子を信じる者が、ひとりとして滅びることなく、永遠のいのちを持つためである。」
3.熟練したものとなりなさい
１サムエル１６：７「人はうわべを見るが、主は心を見る。」

14 Keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. 15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 16 Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. 17 Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18 who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”

2Thas4:13-14
13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
